26th MoCA held at Imperial Hotel and Country Club, Brunei Darussalam

The 26^th Meeting of Competent Authorities (MoCA) on MRA in Surveying was held at the Imperial Hotel and Country Club, Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam on 13-14 February 2019. The meeting is under the under the auspices of the ASEAN Secretariat, and is being chaired by Dr. Wicha Jiwalai who is an Honorary President of the ASEAN Federation of Land Surveying and Geomatics (ASEAN FLAG).

President Randolf Vicente respectfully requested Honorary President Pengiran Matusin Matasan to represent ASEAN FLAG. Honorary President Matusin rendered a report on aspects that relate to the ASEAN FLAG. These are: updates on the 68^th Council Meeting held in Singapore on 4-6 December, follow up actions in line with the Road Map on MRA on Surveying, upcoming Southeast Asia Survey Congress (SEASC) 2019 in Darwin, Australia, among others.

Mr. Ismael Harun, official representative of Land Surveyors Board, Malaysia (P) and ASEAN FLAG Council member, was requested, through the Chair of the MoCA Working Group, to render an orientation on the proposed “Assessment Statement for the ASEAN Registered Surveyors” for the said Council’s appreciation during the 69^th Council Meeting in Guangzhou City, China on 16-18 April 2019.
