67th Council Meeting at Magellan Sutera Hotel, Sabah

The ASEAN FLAG hold its 67^th Council Meeting in Magellan Sutera Hotel, Kota Kinabalu City, Sabah, Malaysia on 14 and 17 August 2018. Engr. Randolf “Randy” S. Vicente, President of ASEAN FLAG, presided the meeting with special items of the agenda discussed by invited resources persons. These are: Dr. Sumaryono of Badan Informasi Geospatial (BIG), Indonesia on the Harmonization of ASEAN Surveying Education, and Mr. Lee Hellen, Director, Surveying and Spatial Science Institute (SSSI) – Australia concerning the topic on “Updates on the Hosting of the Southeast Asia Survey Congress 2019” to be held in Darwin, Australia. Also tackled in the meeting is the orientation of the Council by the host, the Royal Institute of Surveying Malaysia (RISM) – Sabah Branch, about the two-day Second ASEAN Land Governance Summit held on 15 and 16 August 2018 at same venue.
