Membership in the Federation shall be open to government entities, institutions, associations, organizations or corporate bodies whose activities, duties or responsibilities are such as to cause them to be interested in the science and practice of land surveying and geomatics.
Membership in the Federation shall be of five categories: Institutional, Corporate, Associate, Academic and Honorary. The requirements for admission shall be: –
1. Institutional Member
A legally constituted professional institution, association, organization or governmental entities or other similar bodies from countries within ASEAN whose activities include the science and practice of land surveying and geomatics or are concerned with the same.
2. Corporate Member
A firm or corporate body from countries within ASEAN whose activities include the science and practice of land surveying and geomatics or are concerned with the same.
A legally constituted professional institution, association, organization or governmental entities or other similar bodies from countries within ASEAN Dialogue Partners whose activities, duties or responsibilities include the science and practice of land surveying and geomatics or are concerned with the same.
3. Academic Member
An institution or establishment or organization from countries within ASEAN and countries within ASEAN Dialogue Partners that promotes and engages in education or research in one or more of the disciplines in the science of land surveying and geomatics.
4. Associate Member
A professional institution, association, organization, governmental entities or a corporate body that is keenly interested in the science and practice of land surveying and geomatics but is otherwise not eligible for election to other classes of membership.
5. Honorary President
A conferment by the Council to an individual who was a president of the Federation and who is no longer a member of the Council.
