Qualification
Membership in the Federation is open to government entities, institutions,
associations, organizations or corporate bodies whose activities, duties or
responsibilities are such as to cause them to be interested in the science and practice of
land surveying and geomatics.
Procedure and Requirements
Any interested party may apply for membership by way of accomplishing the
membership form for membership (enclosed hereof as downloadable form) approved by
Council from time to time containing all details required thereon. Duly accomplished forms shall
be submitted to the Honorary Secretary General who shall cause the application to be placed
before the Council for consideration.
An application for membership shall be sponsored by two members, one of whom shall be
an Institutional Member. The membership application shall be approved by Council by simple
majority decision at its meeting.
The application form must be accompanied by authenticated supporting documents such
as charter/creation, organizational profile, and other relevant documents as may be deemed
necessary by the Honorary Secretary General and the Council.
Conferment of Honorary Presidents
Honorary President shall be conferred by the Council based on a recommendation by
the President to the Council and carried by two-third majority decision at its meeting. There shall
be no application for Honorary President.
