Hosted by the Association of Authorised Land Surveyors Malaysia (PEJUTA), the 96th and 97th ASEAN FLAG Council Meetings were held at Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on 17 August 2026 and 20 August 2026, respectively. The meetings were held in conjunction with the 18th South East Asia Survey Congress (SEASC 2026), which took place from 18 to 19 August 2026.

At the 15th Biennial ASEAN FLAG General Meeting held on 20 August 2026, the new ASEAN FLAG Council Members for the 2026–2028 term were elected as follows:

  • President – Mario Jose O Silvino, Representing Geodetic Engineering of the Philippines, Inc

  • Senior Vice President – Said Abdullah Abri, Representing Ikatan Surveyor Indonesia

  • Vice President – Derek Chan Wei Hoong, Representing Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers (SISV)

  • Honorary Secretary General – Victorino O. Domingo, Representing Geodetic Engineering of the Philippines, Inc

  • Honorary Treasurer General – Azhar Husain, Representing the Association of Authorised Land Surveyors Malaysia (PEJUTA)

  • Council Member (1) – Leong Kin Weng, Representing Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers (SISV)
